But it helps when you want to use say a weapon that requires a few more levels than you have so you equip some gear that adds those levels and can swap for something else later. The extra stats or buffs from equipment and covenants is also a great feature even though it means armor as fashion is less of a thing. Some of them are really tough but a lot of them are fun to fight. I also love all the added human size mini-bosses. Having many of the Bloodborne weapons (well, within the limitations of what can be modded in so using DS3 weapon animations and so on) was perhaps a bit unnecessary but I really like how much DS1 and DS2 stuff is in there. I like that they also removed a few bonfires that don't need to exist where they are. Just changing enemy placements and bonfire locations makes it a different experience. While I don't agree with all decisions the developers of the mod made (for example Farron Keep is a bit too populated for my liking), most of it is spot on and works in the context of the game's lore and improves the flow of the levels. The DLC areas are mostly unchanged, either the mod developers decided that they were fine as is or just haven't gotten into them all that much.
I recommend it for everyone who has the game on PC. I recently completed my playthrough of this on version 1.72.
