In Dungeon of the Endless, you had to fight your way through floor after floor of an ancient ruin after crashlanding on the planet of Auriga, using turrets and your heroes’ skills to protect your ship's power source along the way as you use it to power your escape.ĭungeon of the Endless won many awards for its game design, and developed a passionate fanbase, but even knowing that we were surprised by just how enthusiastic the reaction was when we announced Endless Dungeon at the end of last year. But back in 2014, we took a step into the rogue-lite genre with Dungeon of the Endless (a game that was, frankly, conceived on a whim at a party).
